Additional internships with partnership with CIED offer students the chance to get real world experience while enhancing opportunity and skills.

We provide real-world opportunities, such as business pitch competitions sponsored by UCSC, NSF I-Corps, Santa Cruz Works, SCEE, and Blackstone, that serve as a launchpad for students’ professional career paths. These pitch competitions happen all year long.

GetVirtual and Marketing4Good teach students how to be project managers while supporting small businesses by building marketing briefs, websites and social media campaigns free of charge. Be a part of the Get Virtual internship by joining the Crown 95 or Crown 91 class.

SCEE aims to build a diverse community of student innovators and creative problem solvers. We encourage students, through our engaging events and workshops, to have unique insights on social and technical problems our society is facing today.

CIED offers many opportunities for connecting students with potential mentors including an entrepreneur-in-residence program. Winners in events like Ideathon are matched with a mentor who can guide them to the next step in their journey of entrepreneurship.
