CIED supports faculty, students, and staff interested in pursuing innovations for improving the prosperity of diverse societies. We offer workshops, seminars, and promote classes in social enterprise. Upcoming events will be posted on our calendar.

The Everett Program focuses on educating and inspiring UC Santa Cruz students to use digital tools and social entrepreneurship skills to advance social justice and promote sustainability.   

Blum Center

The UC Santa Cruz Blum Center on Poverty, Social Enterprise and Participatory Governance investigates, analyzes, educates, and trains students, scholars, and practitioners in mechanisms, policies, and practices to facilitate properly scaled, innovative, and effective institutional management and operation.
