CIED is in the Division of Graduate Studies, located in Kerr Hall, but serves as an entrepreneurial resource for both graduate and undergraduate students and faculty and staff of UCSC, as well as the regional community. Read about our mission and history.

Academic Mission 

CIED hosts and cohosts popular events, including Hack UCSC, Pitch Slam!, and the Business Design Showcase, and entrepreneurial speakers and workshops. In addition, CIED promotes its academic mission with a new Summer Entrepreneurship Academy (SEA), development of an entrepreneurship Graduate Minor (emphasis), and by connecting you to:
